Abdisa Desisa
President
In 2022 Abdisa Desisa founded Rabbirraa Children’s and Elders Haven.Abdisa has a degree in accounting.At a young age, Abdisa knew that his life’s mission was to help children who lived in poverty, he would speak of someday opening a non-profit. Abdisa volunteered for World Vision in Ethiopia and counseled and mentored children with their studies until he later acquired a job working for World Vision and learned how a non-profit operated.He became even more passionate about helping children in need and went on to sponsor children independently.The vision of this nonprofit is a calling that God has put in his heart for many years and is passionate about impacting many Children and Elder’s lives by providing for their physical needs and sharing the love of Christ through this ministry!
Sara Negash
Secretary
Sara is the Author of Adoption is Redemption,who was once an orphan herself.She was sponsored through a non-profit called Compassion and lived in an orphanage called Layla House,until she was adopted to America through Adoption Advocate International.Since adoption and sponsorship changed her life, she has had the same desire to change children’s lives who are now in the same situation she once was Sara has traveled the US as an advocate for sponsorship for Asante Ministry, helped raise funds to keep an orphanage running in Ethiopia,and has been volunteering with Abdisa sponsoring children independently. It has been a calling that God has placed in her heart for many years to open up a nonprofit to help those in need.
Berhanu Bileso-
Berhanu Bileso is a Pastor at Muluwengel church in Ethiopia.Pastor Berhanu believes children are the next generation leaders and is passionate about investing in children’s lives.He has worked for World Vision in Ethiopia for many years and has impacted many children’s lives, teaching them about God, and mentored them.He is excited to teach the children at Rabbirraa Children and Elder’s Haven Ethiopia about Christ and help this non-profit to fulfill the vision that we have received from the Lord.
Muluneh Dibaba–
Leadership in Ethiopia
Muluneh serves at Muluwengel Church in Ethiopia.He has been volunteering and teaching at children’s ministry in his church for many years, fulfilling his heart’s desire to serve the Lord by helping children who are in need.He enjoys gathering the local children that are poor or live in the streets and taking them to lunch on his day off, spending time mentoring and teaching them about Christ.He is excited to be a part of this non-profit to impact children’s lives in an even larger capacity!
Beriso Karu-
Leadership in Ethiopia
Beriso serves at Kalehiwet Church in Ethiopia.He is a leader in the Children's ministry and teaches children that live in the streets about Christ.He spends his time playing soccer with the children and helping mentor them to get good grades in school.His heart’s desire is to see more children to be sponsored so that they can change their future.He is passionate about helping children and Elders in need and is excited for the opportunity to be working with Rabbiraa Children and Elder’s Haven Ethiopia.
Natinael Berhanu
Leadership in Ethiopia
Natinael started serving children who are in desperate need at a young age!His heart and his passion is to help children find sponsors so that their future is changed forever!He has been doing an incredible job helping us change the lives of many children who we were independently sponsoring before we started our nonprofit. His work ethic helping the nonprofit in Ethiopia has been tremendous!We are excited to work with Natinael.He mentors the children and spends quality time with the children.His dream of fulfilling the purpose that God has for him is being fulfilled changing the lives of children and elders!
